Tensed Conical Membrane

This Carpatec® original design covers a wedding and banquet hall in the hotel Jardin de Vikera, in El Bierzo. The structure was constructed next to the 375 m2 marquee, also built by Carpatec®. This structure shelters the garden’s old cherry tree. The top of the cone has been closed off with a methacrylate cover, to allow the tree to receive the necessary amount of sunlight.
